Entraction Poker Network to withdraw from 5 countries

No official statement yet, but the rumors place the withdrawal at the end of the month

Starting with October, Entraction will no longer provide poker services for the specified countries

It’s a time when nobody even knows how to call it anymore. One minute you’re thinking that everything is going great in the poker industry, with the World Series of Poker Main Event having the largest number of players ever in its history, and the Epic Poker League getting a great start, and the next moment you hear about news like a large online poker network closing down in the United States, an even larger online poker network being in deep, deep trouble (and yeah, we’re talking about Full Tilt), and so on. One thing is for certain: these are some events that are shaping up a new industry of online poker, and poker in general, and whoever gets with the times will have an easier time later on.

On to our feature story: the Entraction Poker Network, formerly known as the B2B Network, is a network that’s composed of several skins, such as VCPoker, GoldWinPoker and DevilfishPoker, and more. Currently, it sits at number eleven in a ranking of the top online poker networks worldwide. Although smaller in size than its much larger competitors, this network is relatively extended in Europe, with a large coverage over the Northern part of the continent. They offer a wide variety of poker games, and, on top of it all, they offer casino games, bingo games, and online sports betting. In short, the whole online gambling package.

A recent rumor surrounding the Entraction Network reveals that their services will no longer be available in five countries starting with the end of the month. So, starting with October, the following countries will not have access to Entraction’s services: Canada, Israel, Norway, Russia and Turkey.

According to the very same rumor, this block will be in effect for online poker games only, and online casinos and sportsbooks will still be available. No official statement from the Entraction Network has been made at this time, and thus, no official reason for their departure from these countries has been given. Speculations put it on the legality of their games on these specific markets, however, until the network makes an official statement, they will remain just that: speculations.
