According to recent reports, the 32Red has released an amazing financial report which showed an increase of 42% on their year-to-year increase for the first six months of the year 2011. So far, the revenue for the first six months was reported to be at £11m including those that come from acquisitions. This revenue showed an increase from the £7.8m within the first six months which is essentially the same period as this year. The number of active customers in their casino gaming portal increased up to 12%.
On the other hand, Playtech has gone Italian mobile. While other iGaming operators are boosting their mobile offerings to keep up with the latest advancements in technology, the software powerhouse Playtech acquired the Mobenga AB which is based in Sweden and a mobile phone sports betting company according to reports.
The sale has cost Playtech based in Isle of Man a total of 15.8 million euro or equivalent to $22.4 million. This allowed Playtech to mix sports betting, poker and casino games in single mobile phone software which is much to their advantage.
In addition, Playtech was also reported to have a second quarter increase in revenue of up to 7% which is attributed primarily to their online casino gaming platform. They were also said to plan an expansion with their Italy-based poker network.
Since the year 2008, Playtech has always been enjoying a significant presence in the market which offers tournament poker to the region which is fully compliant to regulations. Furthermore, it was stated that the company has recently acquired more Italian licenses to operate in the region.
Finally, here comes Ongame network. The company has recently launched their Android mobile based poker application. The Ongame network is the reigning king of popular online gambling companies such as the Bwin.Party. They have improved their mobile presence as the very first company to offer license on a new Android mobile cash poker application developed and created by Ongame.
These are three big names in online gambling platforms. Whatever their achievements so far is direct result of their hard work and perseverance even in the midst of ongoing online gambling crisis.
